Flowing and Growing Through Life

Everything is energy and energy is transforming. Nature shows us this time and time again. Season gently transforming to the next season, daylight into the darkness of night, windy storms settling into stillness. A fallen leaf eventually becomes part of the earth, a fallen pine cone becomes food, or a seed becomes a tree or a flower. What may seem like the end is actually the becoming of something new. Energy transforming. Energy becoming. Who have you become? Who are you becoming? Life has a way of bringing up this question again and again as we confront both daily challenges and life-changing events. 

What if who you are becoming, or hope to become, is also about un-becoming everything that isn’t really you so you can discover, or re-discover, your true nature and how you want to show up in life no matter what obstacles may appear - in health, relationships, or other life circumstances.

The word university is derived from the Latin word universus, meaning “whole, entire.” Mindful Kindful YOUniversity (MK YOU) is the study of YOU and your whole-being on this journey of life. Learn and practice how to navigate and flow through life moment to moment in a healthy, balanced, and positive way for mental and physical health and well-being. 

Your well-being is the most important education you will ever receive in the school of life. Learn pragmatic, simple evidence-based practices to navigate the ups and downs of daily living and positively support you in responding to life as it is — the good stuff, the tough stuff, all of it — with grace and the skills to be mindful, kindful, and peaceful. Experience for yourself how these practices and essential life skills of mindfulness, heartfulness, supported by nature and sound energy, can be the foundation for greater strength, resilience, health, and happiness. ~ "Soulcation" Sound Bath ~

Experience a restorative and relaxing "soulcation" with a sound bath. It's a deeply-immersive, meditative listening experience which intentionally uses sound vibrations to invite gentle, yet powerful, therapeutic and restorative processes to nurture and nourish your mind, body, and soul for reducing stress, for healing, or for inspiration. There is no actual bath in water, but rather, participants are “bathed” in healing sound vibrations. Luxuriate in the therapeutic healing frequencies and sound waves from crystal “singing” bowls, gong, chimes, and other intentional sound instruments combined with guided breathwork and meditations to promote harmony, balance, and well-being. 

Join our regularly scheduled public sessions or request a custom private session (for individuals or groups) in an intimate home sanctuary overlooking the bay in Baywood-Los Osos, CA. 

~ "Good Vibrations"Drum Circle and Potluck ~

Our drum circles offer a participatory "sound bathing" experience and community-building opportunity sharing pot-luck goodies! It's all about FUN, friendship, and sharing good vibrations. All levels of experience are welcome. No previous musical or drumming experience is necessary.


Drum Circles are a great way to share the energy of community ~ meet new people and find out that we have more in common than you realize! Drumming can be a wonderful way to explore, discover, or wake-up your creative side and express yourself! 


Additionally, Drum Circles are a fun way to reduce stress. Playing for just a few minutes can boost your mood. Similar to a “runner’s high,” drummers’ brains release feel-good endorphins immediately after playing. The physical stimulation of drumming and the sound vibrations that resonate through every cell in the body stimulate the release of negative emotions.

~ Fill Your Well of Well-Being Nature Retreats ~

Half day retreats for busy people to "unplug" from the business and hardships of life, or just need some fresh inspiration. These experiential events you will benefit from simple, relaxing, and effective mindfulness-based stress-reduction and essential self-care practices to rest, replenish and restore balance in your nervous system as you renourish your heart, body, and soul. 


Give yourself permission to slow down and discover simple practices to navigate through the stresses and challenges of life, while discovering your own true nature through nature connection, meditation, and creative expression. We draw from lessons and inspiration the Wisdom of the 4 Directions (North, South, East, West) and nature's elements (Air, Water, Fire, Earth) to help guide, inspire, and heal.  


These events are held out in nature in the forest, or by the sea, and/or in my home in Baywood-Los Osos, CA. Custom private retreats are also available.
